August...
Jana just keeps on growing. She is an amazing little girl. So very smart and sweet.
She is learning to close doors. Lucky for us she hasn't learned to open them yet. She practices closing every door that she can.
She is also learning to buckle her high chair straps and loves to get out of her high chair and immediately turn around and buckle the straps back up. Again, we are lucky she hasn't learned to undo those. The day is coming though...
She babbles away any time we put her in the car. We laugh and think that she is bored and so she practices trying to talk.
She is also learning to undress herself. Neat skill, but it would be a lot nicer if she were potty trained too. During her nap time last week, she undressed herself and I found her naked with a wet bed by the time I got to her. Hahaha... see what I mean? Needless to say, we are wearing a lot of onesies lately. Those seem harder for her to get off.
She loves to help me put the silverware away too. She hears the dishwasher open (not sure how) and comes running to empty the silverware basket into the drawer for me. So cute and such a good little helper. She has gotten a hold of the dirty ones just a few times...
And then her best trick yet.... She can now get herself out of her play pen. I used this when I needed a minute that I couldn't keep my eyes on her. She just throws a leg up and pulls herself over. Uh oh, is the crib going to be next??? I got one picture of our little escape artist for you.
