Our Tired Baby Girl

This video is from Thursday night. Jana had to be sedated on Friday morning for her MRI, so we were trying to get her to eat as much as possible. She wasn't going to be allowed food after midnight, so if she woke up crying and hungry... we were going to have a rough night! It was really funny though because she was sleeping and still eating!

As you can see... this is the end result.... (and we should find out the MRI results this next week)...

Happy Chinese New Year!!!

Today we took pictures with our good friends to celebrate Chinese New Year. Here is Jana and Emma!

Happy Valentine's Day!

Today is Jana's 1st Valentine's Day! Although we would love to spoil her with lots of goodies and chocolates... that will have to wait until she is older. :)

This Friday (February 16th) she will go to Texas Children's Hospital to be sedated and have an MRI on her spinal cord to make sure she does not have a tethered spinal cord. She does not have any signs of a tethered cord, but her doctors want to be sure that it formed correctly before it becomes a problem.

We hope everyone has a wonderful Valentine's Day filled with lots of love!!!!

Kids update...

Well, everyone got better... and then got worse. So off to the pedi we went. I am so very grateful for a friend who went with me. It would have been a very difficult trip with 3 sick children on my own. Thank you Joanna!

Turns out Kaleb had the flu. He is doing a lot better now.

Brayden had the flu, strep throat and is suffering from asthma. He had been up all night just coughing and coughing. We suspected asthma and our pedi agreed. The prescription she gave us for an inhaler helped immediately and he has slept through the night without any cough ever since. He is also doing better with getting over the flu and the strep.

Jana also had the flu and came down with pneumonia. Our pedi insisted on giving her a shot of antibiotics immediately and then also gave us 10 days worth of antibiotics to give her at home. She is doing better, but still coughs with a lot of fluid and still has a severely runny nose. I am thankful her 105.4 fevers are gone.

So, we are on the mend...
