Quilt Block from Me

I picked out these fabrics and thought this pattern was appropriate from me. I loved the colors and the pattern reminded me of the years to come.

Quilt Block from Brad Moore

Here is a block I made with the material from one of our very best friends, Brad Moore. He loves soccer, so the material he picked out was perfect for him. I couldn't resist putting a soccer ball on this square and making her look like she was playing. Thanks Brad! :)

Quilt Block from Nana

Here is a block with material from my Mom. The pink are from her scrubs and the teddy bear is a cross-stitch she did when I was a kid. It was on a sweatshirt that I had somehow inherited. One thing that would define my Mom is tea. She used to drink tea all day long. So I thought it was perfect that this little girl was having tea with her teddy bear.

I started adding names to the blocks to show who they are from. I am having them embroidered in light pink and this one says "Nana". It is right under the teddy bear. If you click on the image it will get larger and you can see it better.

Kaleb Swim Lessons

Kaleb & Brayden are both doing wonderfully in swim lessons. Here is a short video of some of the many awesome things Kaleb can do. Brayden's video was put on DVD instead (I ran out of disk space on my computer!). I thought I could then put it back on my computer & put him on here, but it doesn't seem to be working that way. Sorry! Next time!

Kaleb & Brayden's First Concert

Kaleb was so proud to have his first concert. He threw the covers off of my bed and used it as his stage. It was very official, as we all had to pay 5 cents to see him do this and he had chairs lined up for us to sit in. Luckily he didn't charge me extra to record it for everyone else to see.

And of course, Brayden had to do like his big brother. They had so much fun! We couldn't get Brayden to stop!

Quilt Block #3 from Emma Moore

Here is quilt block #3 from Emma Moore. Her mom, Amy, picked out the lady bugs because they are considered good luck within the China adoption community. Hopefully all these lady bugs will speed our new daughter into our arms.

Quilt Block #2 from Amy Moore

Here is quilt block #2. The beautiful material is from my best friend, Amy Moore.

First 100 Wishes Quilt Block Done!

Here is the first quilt block I finished. The material is from my dearest Aunt Ellen. She was the first to send a wedding gift, so I am not surprised that she was the first to get the material to me. Love You Ellen!
